KEISHA
Keisha is one of around 30 cats we rescued form a hoarder in December 2021. They were in a shocking state, litter stuck to their pads and between their claws. Skin, eye, ear mites and stomach problems across the board. Forced to live in small cages in filthy surroundings. Outdoors with only plastic sheeting covering the structure. Some were desexed, most not, all varying stages of dirty and traumatised.
We have 5 of the original 30 left and all but 1 in our cat sanctuary. Keisha is Leo’s room mate though not by choice. They’re both on Urinary wet and dry food; it made sense to keep them together so they didn’t pinch the other cats regular food.
She’s very popular with most of our volunteers, as you can see by the picture of her with wings and a halo. She’s friendly and loves to be brushed and have scratches and head pats. Keisha is a food fiend and yells at us to feed her as soon as we walk through the door. We’re anticipating her getting the all clear from the vet after her next urine test. This will allow her to eat whatever she wants once more, and I know she will. We would recommend smaller portions or she’ll end up as big as Leo.
She will be a lovely pet for a fortunate person or family. We feel she’s ready and deserves the best life.

Sponsors help care for cats until they’re homed. All our cats are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutered. Some of our older cats need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
