Angus and Benji
They were surrendered and are now in foster where they are being spoiled though their food monitored as they are rather rotund. In fact they're 1- 1.5 kg overweight- ouch. Fortunately, they are healthy and up to date, after a health check and blood tests. Now looking for a guardian angel, a retirement home somewhere they can live out their lives and there's no reason why they can't live another 8 years or more.
Angus is more reserved and shy; I'm told he seems rather upset at being abandoned but will allow you to stroke him. He's the more sensitive of the two and it's understandable he's unhappy. Thankfully they have each other and we hope we can keep them together. We can but try.
Benji is the more overweight of the pair and more friendly though a little shy which is hardly surprising given that they're now with different people in a different home and all that was familiar now gone! What's new is they'll be having less food but better quality than before. Cats need to lose weight slowly and we are hoping that by Easter when they have to leave their foster. Sadly they'll be looking and feeling far better.
