West Island School Fair - 11th March 2017
We had a great time at the 2016 WIS fair, but this year was even better. I wanted to extend my thanks to the PTA and to Debbie for a day to remember.
We had a really fun day and the weather was SO much better this time around - we froze last year and had to wrap the pups up in our clothes, while we huddled up or ran around to keep warm.
We sold heaps of dog and pet related items and raised $14,000. That, combined with a puppy adoption and super enthusiastic volunteers, who were more than willing to help in any way they could, made for a memorable day.
There were some delicious cakes and we all had a sample:
I'd like to say a special thank you to Temmy, who really pushed the boat out to help us have a successful day. There were also a couple of students who made homemade dog treats with high quality ingredients, and did their own individual bake sale to raise some money for us! Not forgetting the volunteers who were instrumental in every way. Great job all, and hope we can do it all over again next year!
Thank you all,
