Unfortunately, Tamara’s leg was broken when she was hit by a car. It was a bad break and the only option was to either amputate or fuse the bone which would leave her leg poker straight. I opted for neither as she’s used to her leg and plays happily with other dogs though she can’t walk as far as other youngster her age. She compensates by playing for longer and sitting down when she needs a rest – I’d say that’s pretty smart wouldn’t you?

We hope to find her a loving home with another dog where she can enjoy her youth and life.
