It has taken a few years for our Sanctuary cat to find the right person and home – it was worth the wait as he is very comfortable and really enjoying 100% attention at all times, albeit in his time! Many thanks Joy for being the right person, willing to give him time to settle and become a more relaxed cat. Wonderful news – perhaps as you suggested with the name change he really will change and stop smacking people!
