SHELLY
We’re happy to share that Shelly is adopted!
She was adopted when she was very young and returned to us eight years later—a very different dog. Overweight, rarely exercised (if at all), scared of everyone and everything, and extremely needy—the list was endless.
It took months for her to calm down and learn how to just be a dog—how to interact with people, and even more so, with other dogs. Most of this she learned thanks to the care and patience of several fosters, to whom we are eternally grateful.
Christie, thank you so much for the hours you put in. Annie, we owe you and Fortune big time—thank you doesn’t begin to cover it. She wrecked your flat, ate your food (and Fortune’s at every opportunity), drove you round the bend, and more. But those weeks of determination and training finally paid off.
This tiny creature with a huge personality has finally found her forever home. Thank you, Jessica—I hope you’re as happy as she is, being with you and her new friend. 💞
Unable to adopt or foster? Did you know you can help a dog through sponsorship?
Sponsors help care for dogs until they’re homed. All our dogs are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, Heartguard, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutured. Some of our older dogs need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
For $220 HKD per month, you’re helping care for a dog. Please consider a onetime, monthly or annual donation. Click here to learn more, or to donate.
