PRINCE
We’re happy to share that Prince is adopted!
Prince came to us having been surrendered. Reason – he scratched and bit his ‘keepers’ when they repeatedly bathed him! Hard to believe that people bathe cats, they’re naturally clean animals and most don’t leave the home. Which makes me ask how they get dirty? Answer – they don’t! He also had a broken tooth which had to be removed as it was clearly painful and perhaps why he was underweight.
For Prince, being surrendered was the best thing that could have happened. He found a new home very quickly where he’s allowed to be a cat – no baths in this home! When he first arrived he was allowed to do as he pleased. He was calm until he heard running water, then he ran and hid. After a few weeks the realisation hit that the days of being bathed were over. He’s gained over 1 kg and needed to as he was underweight. His coat is glossy and he’s a healthy, happy cat.
Thank you, Jonah ❤️😺
Sponsors help care for cats until they’re homed. All our cats are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutered. Some of our older cats need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
