We’re happy to share that Mochi is adopted!

Mochi has found a new home—with a dog who is most likely her sister. A dog we didn’t even know existed!

Two different charities, two female dogs—yet their appearance is so strikingly similar, it can’t be a coincidence. Not only do they look alike, but they also share the same soft fur and even behave in very similar ways.

When they met for the first time, it wasn’t love at first sight—but it was comfortable. Both dogs are anxious by nature, nervous around cars, large vehicles, and crowds. But now, they are slowly finding their rhythm and routine in the same home.

They seem to be accepting each other, sharing everything, and growing closer each day. They make a gorgeous duo, and it’s truly amazing that after five years, they’ve found each other again.

A heartfelt thank you to Bianca and her family for fostering and helping Mochi overcome her fear of other dogs. She learned how to walk on a lead, how to play, and how to run like the wind.

And thank you to Laurence and Frederic for giving her—and her sister Toffee—a home that any dog would dream of. 💕

Sponsors help care for dogs until they’re homed. All our dogs are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, Heart Guard, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutered. Some of our older dogs need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
