LUNA

We’re happy to share that Luna is adopted!

Luna, we call her Looney, is a cat with a big personality. She’s cheeky, funny and very much her own cat! Loved by the volunteers at the cat sanctuary. You never knew where you’d find her. She had a habit of hiding on a shelf and would jump out and hit you on your way through the door!

When we had to pack up the sanctuary I was worried about who could or would take Luna. Not everyone would put up with her antics. At the twelfth hour an adopter from a few years back contacted us and came to meet her. My fingers and toes were crossed ………

Stella loved our Looney, who was her usual self, checking out the new lady and her bag. Luna doesn’t eat treats or wet food so it’s not easy to coax her to do pretty much anything unless she wants to do it. Having said that, she was no trouble going into the carrier and off to her forever home!

Her trial adoption came and went and I received many photos of her on top of, under and in the furniture. She found her place and her person.

Sponsors help care for cats until they’re homed. All our cats are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutured. Some of our older cats need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
