LOLLYPOP
We’re happy to share that Lollypop is adopted!
Lollypop, a senior cat, was being prepared to be move overseas. Sadly at the 12th hour, and for an unknown reason, the owner decided against taking her. She was surrendered to AFCD, and they asked us to rehome her.
The AFCD team had been cleaning a wound on her stomach daily for over a month, and they believed it was caused by overgrooming due to stress. Long story short, the wound wouldn’t heal and we really didn’t want to keep a cone on her any longer, so the vet recommended removing the wound. We did this, and now that she’s recovered, she’s so happy, and in her new home cone free!
Her adopter, who has adopted from us before, is a special person who takes senior cats less likely to be adopted, gave Ms. Lollypop a home. Lollypop is once again a loved, adored queen of the home. She, like the others, will be allowed to live out her life in a happy home with all their needs met. A home any senior cat would want. 💞
Unable to adopt? Did you know you can help a cat through sponsorship?
Sponsors help care for cats until they’re homed. All our cats are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutured. Some of our older cats need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
For $200 HKD per month, you’re helping care for a cat. Please consider a onetime, monthly or annual donation. Click here to learn more, or to donate.
