We’re happy to share that Dandy is adopted!

This delightful little dog spent more than half his life in a kennel waiting for his fate to be decided. When he was finally freed he had to learn everything all over again. Walking, socializing, toilet training, traffic and all manner of noises. His foster had a young dog who became his mentor initially. He loved the play sessions with his new friend, and started to go on the pee pads. He feared the outdoors and walks even eating new food was a challenge. It’s been a couple of months now and this adorable little boy has come a long way.

Now in his forever home he goes to the door in anticipation of his walks, eats with gusto loves and has started to gain weight. He’s in the perfect home, his mum has experience with dogs who need time to adjust and relearn. Thank you Sia for giving him a head start & to Kim for giving him his new life & forever home.

Sponsors help care for dogs until they’re homed. All our dogs are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, Heartguard, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutured. Some of our older dogs need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
