We’re happy to share that Ludo is adopted!

I adopted Ludo who I was fostering, it didn’t take long to see how attached he’d become to myself, Henry the cat and my 3 dogs. However, this wasn’t the reason I adopted him.

I adopted him because he has a high prey drive. Wild boars are a huge problem when we go hiking which is every day, I have to watch him constantly as he’ll run at the slightest hint or sniff of a boar.

It’s not perfect day when you have to go charging through the greenery screaming like a nutter to get your dog. Not everyone would do this, or want to but he’s a great dog apart from this one quirk!

Sponsors help care for dogs until they’re homed. All our dogs are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, Heartguard, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutured. Some of our older dogs need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
