GOGO

Gogo came to us with his twin Gigi. She was fortunate to find a foster where she has remained. Sadly, Gogo’s foster of 2 years returned him. Though Gogo had made some progress, the foster felt it wasn’t enough to keep him.

We don’t know what happened to the twins. Whatever it was, it scared them enough to never even attempt to interact with any human. It’s tragic however we do what we can. He has space, the freedom to wander around and we leave him to his own devices. After a few months there is a change and some improvement though he’s still guarded.

He will make himself visible for particular volunteers though he’ll hide from others. Whatever works for him is fine, we don’t push or approach him. Gogo may never find a home or even another foster but there again he may surprise us all. Until then he’s safe and free to do his own thing.

Sponsors help care for cats until they’re homed. All our cats are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutered. Some of our older cats need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
