We’re happy to share that Lewis is adopted!

Lewis, now Chewie – if you saw him at home it’s clear why he got the name. Now 20kg and all fluff and fun, most of the ‘gremlin’ in his personality has gone thankfully. Just as soon as he was fully recovered and able to start going for walks. Chewie was a much happier, calm dog. He was clearly frustrated due to being kept in and not allowed to move around too much or walk too much either. He’s well known in his area for his antics and silly behaviour a much-loved dog with his own fan club.

Thank you to those of you who really helped Chewie on his journey, there are quite a few. Thank you Dr. Tony (Acorn) for doing the surgery and giving him a chance to walk again.

He has a great life ahead of him, a family who adore him and not a care in the world 💕

Unable to adopt or foster? Did you know you can help a dog through sponsorship?

Sponsors help care for dogs until they’re homed. All our dogs are given health checks, vaccinations, de-flea, worming, Heart Guard, and a microchip. If needed, they are spayed or neutered. Some of our older dogs need ongoing medication and more frequent vet visits.
